So I have noticed that as things grow the amount of things I have to keep updated is becoming more difficult. The last big change I did was updated all the branding for SH. The original color scheme I had came up with was almost consistent for the entire year but it was just a very dark look. I was also not happy with the way the logo was and still a little iffy about the name.
So in December of 2020 I spent the entire month coming up with a game plan to redesign and reconfigure the entire platform. Came up with a color scheme and logo ideas, decided to scrap the way the entire backend was being operated and wanted customers to feel like it was a more hands on approach rather than an automated process.
At the beginning of January I start posting updated about changes to the way customers would access the site and how billing would be changing to a simpler method. I made sure to keep customers in the loop during the whole process. The only thing that I have been battling still is the name. I don’t know if it brandable enough. The name related to what we offer and is has great SEO which is one of the main reasons I haven’t changed it.
